NEWS
October  is well upon us, and we have already seen a very wintry mix of weather.
Paul is preparing  the next batch of pots, to be fired here , at the Frantz 2/50 and at

Bill Gossman's pottery in New London, MN..

I am adding work to my
Etsy  shop daily.

Paul and I both had a great experience this week demonstrating our craft at
Mankato West High School.   We had two days of Ceramic, and Drawing students.
Paul made pottery and I showed the many ways to finish it.

Our work is in two local shops right now, Made of Mora, and In Braham, Braham
Country Floral.

Made of Mora consists of strictly local talent, and there are something like 50
people represented in this great downtown Mora shop.

Connie Reilly of Braham Country Floral, has her shop stocked with hand crafted
work also.  The handmade goodness has taken over the shop! There is some
great pottery there, probably because Connie is a potter herself.
We are back to cold weather here in Minnesota, and  I welcome that over the melting and rain we had
the last couple of days.  We are busy working on new glazes and designs, and I am very excited about
the dinnerware that is coming.    We are firing indoors this winter in the electric kiln, and experimenting
with new glazes and combinations.    I have over 50 small sculptures in progress, and soon they will be
listed in my etsy store.    I have taken a break from the internet to concentrate on my work this month
and am very happy with the results so far.

My newest obsession is a website called Spoonflower. Below is a sample panel of fabric  that I made
with a photo of one of my favorite plates.  Spoonflower is a site where you can design your own fabrics.
As a long time fabric addict, this is a thing that I have dreamed about.  Click on the picture below to see
what the fabric looks like in repeat.
